The flowers of A Hanging Garden sprout from a single original drawing that blossoms into a garden of colour.
Each image is drawn in graphite, reproduced in ink, and carefully transferred onto prepared wood panels. Each piece is then fully hand painted in oil as part of a small numbered edition. These editions are highly variable in colour and modelling and, like many blooms springing from a single root, each is unique.
As part of a limited edition, each piece is numbered.
Edition sizes are generally 50 or less.
5×7 unbraced frame-ready editions are limited to 100.
All other sizes are braced and wall-ready and feature the latin and common names of the species printed on the side of the panel.
